User Research
This course will offer you a practical perspective on the abilities and benefits of user research in making your product a successful one. You will learn when to apply individual methods and how to interpret the resultant data. In the hands-on portion of the course, you will try out some of these methods yourself.
Personas
This is a modern software design tool. The first part of the course is theoretical, where we describe the tool and familiarize you with its advantages, limits and usage potential. Then, in the practical part, you will learn how to actually construct personas. Our instructors are among the few in the Czech Republic with rich practical experience of personas, which they create with an emphasis on effectiveness and usability in all application development phases.
Usability Testing
This is the most thorough method that can be used to discover problems actual users can encounter. Once you have completed this course, you will be able to find the proper participants, assemble objective test assignments, and in particular correctly analyze and identify the problems encountered by participants during testing. You will also learn about technical configuration options and other system aspects.
Design Bloopers
A very entertaining and lighthearted course aimed primarily at UI designers and programmers. Through countless examples, you will become acquainted with useful design practices, theorems and rules for the creation of user interface elements. Our consultants will let you peek into their valuable archive of design bloopers that they have collected during their long years of experience.
Interaction Design
In this course, as opposed to Design Bloopers, you will deep dive into the issues of user interface design. You will learn about principles and practices used in the design of complex applications. You will touch upon themes like user research, usability testing, and other design tools. This course is suited for designers of larger applications or UI architects.
Business Impact of User Experience
This course is intended primarily for owners of companies whose main business channel is a web interface or other software application. You will find out not only about the influence of user experience on the business model, but also about tools that can be used to measure the impact of marketing campaigns, define a unified vision of the end user, and collect or assess user requirements.
Custom Courses
These are intended for teams that are interested in refining and increasing their skills in a narrowly defined area, or on the contrary in gaining a broad overview of the entire field of usability, user research and interaction design. After discussing your requirements, our consultants will put together a course customized for your team.
