For modern applications, design is more important than the technology behind it. Today's computers are so powerful that program efficiency or data processing speed cease to become a decisive factor. The success of software is decided by its ease of use, appearance, and how quickly customers learn to use it.

Our designers have many years of experience in user interface design. They design applications with great emphasis on simplicity, usability and modern appearance. Thanks to their breadth of IT knowledge, already during the design phase our designers optimize web applications for search engines, Web 2.0 technologies and possible use in mobile devices.

The first step in proper application design is interaction design. After a thorough analysis, we put together a model that describes work processes and the usage paradigm. At this point the model does not contain any visual elements to distract attention from the conceptual solution, so that it is possible to concentrate exclusively on the application's communication with the user. Our models are interactive, which from the outset enables us to present concepts and react very quickly to your suggestions and other requirements that can occur during this phase. Models are interactive to the degree that they can have preliminary usability tests performed on them. They are also very close to the final solution, which makes it possible to prevent problems that would otherwise not become apparent until the product was finished, making their elimination very costly or even impossible.

When designing the interactive model, we place great emphasis on simplicity and intuitive use.

The next step is to extend the interaction model via visual design. Our graphic artists provide the model with a face that gives it sparkle, makes it unique, and emphasizes elements that should not escape the user's attention.

At this point the model is identical to the final application. The visual elements are in a separate logical layer that will be applied during implementation. This saves programmers much time and effort, so they can fully focus on connecting the user interface with databases and other back-end technologies, and don't have to waste time on a user interface for which they are not qualified, and thus often give short shrift.

If we are helping you with the development of a web application, both previous phases of the design process take into account search engine optimization (SEO) to place you at the top of search results. On the web, not being visible is like not being there at all. Though this aspect should be taken into account during the design phase, we are capable of doing SEO for finished applications as well.
